Cầu Trời cho chúng qua truông,

Thế-gian yên-lặng hát tuồng khải-ca.

Tây-Phương tuy ở cõi xa,

Thành tâm thì có Phật mà đáo-lai.

Ước mong dân khỏi nạn-tai,

Dắt-dìu Tiên cảnh Bồng-Lai nhiều người.

Xem trần khó nỗi vui cười,

Lo giàu lo lợi chẳng rồi bớ dân.

Mẹ cha là kẻ trọng ân,

510. Dưỡng-nuôi báo hiếu lúc thân yếu già.

Giường linh đơm quải mới là,

Có chi cúng nấy vậy mà dân ôi !

Ta là thân phận làm tôi,

Phải đền phải đáp cho rồi mới hay.

Mặc ai tranh-luận đấu tài,

516. Khuyên dân nên hãy miệt-mài chữ Tu.

Giảng nầy ra cuối mùa thu, (4)

Dạy ăn dạy ở chữ Tu vuông tròn.

Học theo mối Đạo làm con.

Luận xem học mới mấy đon đời nầy.

Văn-minh sửa mặt sửa mày,

Áo quần láng-mướt ngày rày ăn chơi.

Dọn xem hình-vóc lả-lơi,

Ra đường ăn nói những lời nguyệt-hoa.

Trong tâm nhớ những điều tà,

Lời ăn tiếng nói thiệt là quá lanh.

Xưng là đầu trẻ tuổi xanh,

Chẳng trau hiền-đức học-hành làm chi ?

Khôn-ngoan thời những chuyện gì.

Cũng là lừa-dối vậy thì dân quê.

Người Xưa nó lại khinh chê,

Ông cha hủ-bại u-mê hơn mình.

Tự-do trai gái kết tình,

Với lo trau-sửa cho mình đẹp tươi.

Gái trai đến tuổi đôi mươi,

Chẳng kiêng cha mẹ nói cười lả-lơi.

So hình sửa sắc chiều mơi,

Pray for the people to go through the misery,

Peace return to the world that sings victory.

Even though the Western Land is very distant,

The faithful will see the Buddha to frequent.

I pray for the people to be free of any demise,

Coaching many of them to the Paradise.

At a glance, people hardly obtain happiness,

How futile it is to build up their richness.

You owe a great gratitude to your parents,

Take care of them under their aging burden.

When they passed away, offer on their altar,

Whatever you have without spending too far.

Though your role is to serve them as juniors,

You must have accomplished it without flaw.

Despite those who argue and rival with us,

On your self-amelioration, you just focus.

This scripture is published by the end of fall,

That teaches how to perfect your moral.

Train in how to observe filial duty,

Compare it to what the new era can give.

The so called ‘civilized’ are good at making up,

Their dressing is glossy on frolicking spree.

They dress up in such a way they look flirting,

On streets they speak in such voices as alluring.

Deep down, they remember deviations,

Their conversing style is too sharp-tongued.

Though they call themselves young people,

What is their learning for if they have no moral?

What are they clever and wise at doing,

Their aim is to outsmart the ignorant peasant.

They have taken the ancient people slightly,

Their ancestors as old-fashioned and less witty.

Boys and girls enjoy the full freedom of mating,

And of making themselves attractive looking.

Boys and girls who have reached their twenties,

Defy their parents and use flirting speeches.

From dawn to dusk, they are busy fixing their look,

So that they can do all their abnormalities.

Why to reject antiquity but to cajole currency,

To betray King, father and filial piety?

I am too downtrodden by the world’s behaviors,

They belittle their birth givers and raisers.

Our ancestors were not so clever as today,

But they tended to be more honest and brave.

The well-learnt have used their resources,

To collude with the apparatus for lavishness.

They demean the indigent whom they come across,

Once opening their mouths, they use swearwords.

They are not keen to set up their career goal,

So they live by ruse and their future is only dull.

To all teachers, all the personnel of the ministry,

Please awaken and practice your empathy.

Help people and expect no return at all,

Your achievement is dearer than a gemstone.

I take the risk to make an unreserved speech,

Help anyone whether they're poor or rich.

Vainglory is nothing but the foam in the seas,

You will shine even if you are poor devotees.

Recall the Gia Tinh Year of the Ming Dynasty,

Kieu paid a ransom for her Dad with her body.

Even though she had been exiled everywhere,

Eventually did her old friend come and share.

Whether I am loved or hated, I do not care.

The modern and the ancient, we compare.

There are a wide range of personalities,

They must train in filial piety and loyalty.

This scripture points to all acts of dishonor,

I urge you to calm down as a ruminator.

I don’t mind to incur any difficulty,

Provided you can be free of any calamity.

Discuss whatever has a profundity,

If you believe in Buddha, you will be able to see.

Days and months go by like a weaver,

Pray for the world to defuse its war trigger.

You come across a mat when sitting with sadness,

I am giving you an invisible fresco.

Self-reflection should be everyone’s motto,

If you find a defect, bring it out and let it go.

My words, not my ideas, have been exhausted.

I offer the folks a fable instead.

I say farewell to the villages on this occasion,

Ngoc Thanh will travel the Southern region.

The loyalist will be recorded by the history,

The Shrine legend engraves their loyalty.

Alas! Alas! The disaster is drawing near,

The lay people should take great pains to hear.

The exhortations were made by your Messiah,

Which you should try to bring into your heart.

The practicer is like a pine tree,

Everyone looks at, adores and likes to see.

It is your obligation to sustain your purity,

As has been said in scriptures clearly.

Whenever I meet up with the Han Emperor ,

People will stop complaining about their destiny.

Meng Zong used to cry with a dry bamboo tree,

To give him its shoots to cure his ailing mammy.

No matter whoever rains on me derisions,

On my part, I recite a savior’s empathy.

Wanting to see the Buddha and the Emperor,
