Tu cầu bịnh tật tiêu-tan,

Từ-bi hỉ-xả Phật ban phép lành.

Tu cầu thoát khỏi tử sanh,

Nương theo Phật-Quốc lời lành hằng nghe.

Cõi trần đừng đắm ngựa xe,

Đeo tuồng mộng-huyễn lập-lòe sắc hương.

Tu cầu trăm họ hiền lương,

Đồng thinh niệm Phật tai-ương chẳng còn.

Tu cầu gia-đạo vuông tròn,

Chồng hòa vợ thuận cháu con thảo hiền. [710]

Tu cầu thoát khỏi xích-xiềng,

Dựa kề chơn Phật xa miền trần-lao.

Tu cầu chóng hết binh đao,

Gặp đời bình trị xiết bao vui-vầy

Mắt nhìn chư Phật đông dầy,

Thành vàng điện ngọc trò Thầy đăng tiên.

Ai mà muốn đặng phước-duyên,

Nghe lời khuyến-thiện lòng liền phát tâm.

Tu cho rõ mối huyền-thâm,

Qui đầu Phật-Pháp khỏi lâm tai-nàn. [720]

Nhắm mắt cũng nắm hai tay,

Đâu đem tiền của đem rày hầu non.

Chỉ có tội phước hỡi còn,

Đến nơi thẩm-phán cửa son Diêm-Đài.

Phước nhiều tiên-cảnh lên rày,

Tội nhiều sa-đọa nhiều ngày thảm-thê.

Chừng ấy mới biết chỉn ghê,

Ăn-năn chẳng kịp khó bề tính-toan.

Ngày nay sớm đến Phật-đàng,

Tu cầu chư Phật cứu an linh-hồn. [750]

Tội tiêu phước hưởng trường-tồn,

Không còn mắc nẻo dại-khôn luân-hồi.

Thấy đời khó nỗi yên ngồi,

Thêm lời Thầy nhắc một hồi thấp cao.

Nữ nam muốn rõ âm-hao,

Rán trau đức-hạnh ngày sau sẽ tường. [756]

NAM-MÔ BỔN-SƯ THÍCH-CA MÂU-NI PHẬT

(tam niệm)

NAM-MÔ A-DI-ĐÀ PHẬT

Practise to make all the diseases annuled.

For the Buddha to grant a healing miracle,

Practise to terminate the rebirth cycle,

To take refuge in the Buddhaland and Dharma.

Don’t cling to worldly extravaganza,

As though dreamlike, flickering scented beauties.

Practise for the people to have veracity,

Practise for love and harmony to be stronger,

To beg Buddha jointly for no more disaster.

Husbands and wives, children, and grandchildren.

Practise to escape from the shacles of the world,

So, idly you can sit at the feet of the Lord.

Practise for the wars soon to come to an end,

To enjoy a peaceful, thriving reign.

You can see Buddhas in their great numbers,

Fairy gem halls await disciples with their Master.

To those keen to cultivate your good deeds,

Take our advice and have yourself motivated .

Practise to understand this kind of mystery,

Head back for the Dharma to avoid tragedy.

Good deeds are dearer than gold and silver,

The cruel rich are useless with their treasure.

You would rather be demure,

Listen to the Saints and respect your elderly.

Remember your filial piety and loyalty,

The late duty accomplisher will join the Fairy.

You pray every day and recite Amita,

Avoid the flattery and learn the stanzas.

Cultivate your virtues to shine like a mirror,

Devote yourself to get rid of all your errors.

Listen carefully to the sound of the pipa,

Which has neither strings nor fret nor rancour.

We play Occidental, then we play Oriental,

Sadly people once they drink water forget its cradle.

The temporal world is like a tousled spindle,

But it is ravished with skittish theatricals.

People turn deaf ears and blind eyes to our word,

Material race has the fairy path diverted.

Some are possessed of overly sexual drive,

They can’t control their desire until they die.

When their eyes close, they drop their hands empty,

They can’t take their mistress, assets or money.

Only their good or bad deeds remain and reckon,

The Court of the Hades will send them a summon.

If good deeds stand out, they ascend the fairy land,

Otherwise, they will be tortured days on end.

They had not known how horrible it was till then,

Repentence is too late and so hard to plan.

You should early attend the Buddhist school now,

Practise for Lord Buddha to salvage your soul.

From your sins clearing, arise your lasting credits,

And you will not be caught in a cycle of wits.

Watching the world, we hardly sit down,

In addition, the Master’s reminder counts,

If you want to know what your future will hold,

Cultivate your virtues and you will be told.

***

Master teach how to practise your morals,

Engage in conscentious rehearsals.

The Ancestors from the Nine Waterfalls,

Try to escape from ironical Six Channels .

***

We wish to propagate the Supreme Mystic,

With the best language to show the Fairy path.

An aboding Amidist have been blissful,

Exhortating people as gentlemen.

NAMO AMITABHA
