I appeal aloud to the whole people!

Why not to wake up to the ominous world?

Calamities descend as swiftly as arrows,

Try to practice in the search of a bonanza.

This grace is granted by Lord Lady Buddha,

And Lord Patriarch Buddha to the populace.

Practice for your own deliverance,

Don’t be cruel so you can see the Fairyland.

I sing to appeal to those who are affluent,

For giving alms, that is your obligation.

When you’re in peril, you can call me upon,

By the Lady Buddha’s order, I help you out.

Practice requires endurance as a devout,

Seeing him, don’t take old Ferryman lightly.

After teaching, Master and disciples leave,

I reach Bien Hoa for a glance.

Here I teach people, close and distant,

Urging them to stay mindful and conscient.

Nowadays you meet your Bosom Friends, P

ersist to discover the mystery of nature.

I go to Tan An for a punctual lecture,

Then, in a hurry, I head for Tây Ninh.

I’ve just arrived here in the early morning,

Try to teach, whether or not they listen.

Afterwards, to Dầu Một, back I hasten,

Here is the last leg of our urban journey.

Our teaching teems with people’s empathy,

I keep wandering from dawn to nightfall.

Many people are too cruel and brutal,

They frolick without knowing their peril.

That said, I never feel tranquil,

Hereafter Six-Provinces has the disabled many.

While speaking, our hearts are in deep agony,

Think carefully before belittling this Crazy.

Don’t be so ravenous as to say this or that,

Calmly ponder who this Crazy must be.

The old Potato Peddler is worth a pity,

For your sake, he exerted himself a lot.

This verse reminisces an anecdote,

The worldly should renounce your greed.

Mad’s hometown is at Mt. Sam,

While Crazy have no pagoda down here.

King Yao used to deforest this land,

Today He has ceded it to this crazy man,

Down the world, I don’t cease to preach.

Having taught, I feel worse distress,

I pray for the Patriarch Buddha to bless.

Crazy give advice like Boya played music.

Having traveled across all the public,

Crazy go home from now on.

Don’t take lightly the seeming moron,

Master is Hue Luu, the disciple Hue Tam.

Doomsday won’t be in a few year frame,

All over, corpses will pile up like mountains.

The fathers won’t see their children,

Wives won’t see their husbands at home.

OId and young, remember this outcome.

The virtuous will be saved by Buddha,

This is the jewel of scented aroma,

Don’t cling to quarreling and gossiping.

As children, you should be well-behaving,

Learn morals and revere your parents.

Crocs and tigers will later draggle,

The brute will be judged right on this ground.

The old day’s karma takes time to turn out,

Today’s one happens within a second.

Every one must try to be a good person,

Don’t place money over righteousness.

The brute must cultivate virtuousness,

From now on, Patrol Gods will be surveiling.

Others’ private lives are not for digging,

Look yourself up in a noble mirror.

Whether some don’t act in your favor,

Keep righteousnous as your obligation.

Crazy obey the Western Paradise’s direction.

Serving the Master to salvage the sentients,

I see those who are heretic charlatans.

Who just cling to teasings about Crazy,

Sadly sitting, I tell stories incessantly.

I are hated though I have no greed,

I write a few pages for people to read,

They can take with them to the farm in case.

I love the poor muddied from feet to face,

Who covet affluence as they see.

No one knows what their future should be,

Today is calmness, tomorrow is sadness.

From now on, they will meet a distress,

The brute, the stubborn and scornful.

The worldly now are sorrowful,

Therefore, Crazy expound this incident.

Day and night, think of Buddha so often,

Be thrifty and frugal from now on.

By compassion, Crazy expound,

You should ever listen to this teaching.

Don’t demean the thatched hut living,

Expensive houses often are worm-eaten.

Crazy are too occupied at the present,

Till the worldly understand Permanence.

I don’t want sweet, sticky rice liturgy,

The Supreme Being need no such banality.

The Lords want you to learn the Noble Path,

Not wishing for lofty smart pagodas.

So far you know how to sort gold from brass,

I teach you how to be wise, not dull.

At dawn, the dog howls,

When the pig bites its pen, hostilities end.

Don’t for monies and riches contend,

The brute tend to libel the good foolish.

As Crazy clearly instruct how to practice,

This recompense for you will suffice.

That’s it. I’ve been so far rambling,

Up to here, I cease my writing.
