TO THE PATRIOTIC YOUTH LEAGUE
By Lord Master Huynh
As soon as I heard of Patriotic Youth League,
I am ravished by this bulletin.
This must have been predestined,
Our sunken country hopes for her resurge.
The whole Eastern Asia’s zeal bursts,
To renew their nation-building era.
Many go home from their diasporas,
The same vows rise amid the Sangha.
You've long been dying for sovereignty,
Has the Youth League been ready?
When you've gathered enough might,
You’ll kindle people’s revenging delight.
Your loyalty and righteousness move Deities,
One day surely, you expand your authorities.
From the deep South to the far North,
All social sectors at one should go forth.
They'd rather put up with any bitterness,
Bidding time to finish off their joint targets.
Let you demonstrate your being bold,
And your enemy will surrender in droves.
Thus you're entitled Vietnamese man,
On a par with the brave of Japan.
You dutifully protect thy national border,
Ensuring your country be secure forever.
In order for your society to enjoy a leisure,
Cultivate your primeval culture.
There will then be neither corrupt officials,
Nor vermins in your government at all.
These humble verses I improvise,
I offer to the League Leader I admire.
